Francesco (b. 1992, Italy) is a researcher and digital luthier. His work integrates embedded technologies and machine learning in digital musical instrument design, focusing on musical embodiment and human-computer interaction. He has participated in numerous artistic events as a performer, composer, and sound engineer, and has presented his work at international conferences such as NIME, ISEA, TEI, and Audio Mostly—where he was awarded Best Long Paper in 2023. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. at TU Eindhoven in Industrial Design, focusing on Tangible Interaction, Sound Design and the Internet of Things.
